I have three maps now that I will be making 3 runs each with. Will get a sheet for each map. I'm just messing with things to see what happens. I still have Jamie's map with minor autotune changes...and his basemap as delivered. I will post the results of all three.
Good idea. It'll be interesting. So is this to happen Saturday?
The bad part is that you and Tony are going to end up costing me money - to buy the autotune module just so I can play with the settings! :-) I actually downloaded the software along with some default maps so I could follow what you guys were talking about.
Yeah, it's been like Chistmas over here ever since I received it last month. I'm trying to keep the meddling at a rational level and so far I haven't screwed anything up, although I did set some target AFR's at 0% TP against DynoJet's recommendations, and that led to some weird trim values. If you enter "0" for a target AFR it does no auto-tuning, which is DJ's recommendation for 0% TP, and I've since returned it to the recommended settings.
Just wanted to say thanks for all the posts and info. I went to the dealer this morning to install my security system for me. They had Rush slipons on their new touring bikes and one of the nex XR1200s (way cool). I listened to the Rush slipons. I think I have decided to go with Jamie's power package with the Jackpots after good feedback from this forum. Thanks guys.
OK now guys! 09StreetGlider, you and iclick need to change your nicks to Stephanopolis and Papadapolis or something like that, CAUSE IT'S ALL GREEK TO ME!
Seriously, though, I'm just kidding. You guys blow me away with your knowledge and our forum is WAY better for having you two aboard to help the rest of us out.
Keep the conversation going. I may not have an '09 or the AT module, but I'm learning as I read!!!
I don't know about knowledge....that's kind of my point really is that I don't know a dang thing except what I've learned in the last few weeks. This system is just that easy to get the hang of. Thanks for the kind words though. I like to help where I can.
