Bike wont turn over?

Bike wont turn over?

a friend of mine just replaced the iner fairing on his 07 FLHX. now it wont turn overand the blinkers dont work. get the u1064 code. tried to reset the tssm but still wont turn over.

The check engine light wont even come on whe the key is first on.

Anyone else have any ideas on what to try?

Checked the battery, but just read that it could be a fuse? of all things not to check we havent check the fuses yet. hoping that there is one blown.

No power

I have the same problem with my '07 FLHX. No power to anything except for the security system. Blinkers will flash and key symbol is on @ speedo, but NOTHING else works. All fuses are OK. I think it may be the ignition switch, the tumblers might not be aligned up correctly. Shooting in the dark here.

yes it has security, changed the fob battery. still no go. he is checking the fuses as i type.

skilz1 is your FOB close enough to the bike?

Yes the fob is close enough to the bike. I really think it is the ignition switch. I prematurely removed the **** and I think the tumblers inside the ignition module/switch are not aligned properly. All of the fuses are good to go. The only thing that works is the security system, nothing else. Very frustrating!

I had a similar problem after I switched the bars on my ultra. It turned out to be the ignition switch out of alignment but all I had to do was jiggle it a bit and everything was fine. Never happened again.
