Default Re-attaching chrome accent rings.

I am planning to paint my inner fairing shortly and I have chrome accent rings on it. What is the best product to replace them with after I put it back together? Thanks.

Pull them off gently with a small pick tool. Replace them using 3 small dots of silicone.

Took gauges out of my fairing w/o removing rings, they slide out the front of fairing.

3-M trim adhesive works great.
I used it on the weather stripping on the side of the inner fairing also.

As Heathen stated, the gauges come out the front with no need to remove the rings unless you have the one around the radio.

Trim ring is attached to the gauge head , why do you have to remove it ? Or am I missing something ?
