Thank God! I thought something I had done screwed this up! The post about the cell phone is most likely my problem. I hang my fob on the belt right beside the phone on my belt. Thank You For the info.

in the owner's manual, you know the book no one ever reads (guilty!), it tells you to keep your fob away from your cell phone. i guess sometimes they do know what they are talking about (shhh, we won't admit it!)
Buddy of mine started his bike took off shirt, with fob in it , hung it up and went to the beach . Went to start bike , would not start because fob was at home in his shirt pocket .
That's what the security codes are for! If the fob goes dead or is lost, you can enter your code by way of the switch gear and start the bike!

Never thunk about the cell phone, but each time in my case the fob was probably in my right jacket pocket with my cell phone hanging off my belt on the right side, very close together. That's probably it.
Both times it happened to me my phone was in the same pocket as my fob. I haven't checked the code since unhooking the battery. Does it need to be reset?
I am glad to hear this has happened to a few others out there. It has happened to me about 4 - 5 times. The latest I was sitting at a stop sign while it was ideling and it just quit running..! I went to start it and it cycled thru and when I hit the starter button... nothing..! After about 5 minutes or so and after I attempted a number of times (maybe 5 times) it finally cranked over. this usually happens while I stop for gas it will not crank over and it usually takes about 5 minutes or so then it will start. What should I do..? The warranty is out on my 07 FLHTC last November. Thanks for any helpful thoughts or ideas.
