orange flecks in the oil filter
Changed the oil today and cut the filter apart to check for the dreaded orange in the filter every pleat had 1 to 3 flecks a bout the size of a pin head and smaller 18,000 miles is it time already to change the cam chain tensioners or does it always throw a few out until failure was hoping to get through this summer before changing cams and tensioners

You could always risk it, what's the worst that could happen?
Everytime you ride and hear some odd sound you will wonder.
I though the same thing, and decided the uncertanty was not for me and went with the gear drives.
