The "heat problem" we all face is caused by extremely hot exhaust gases running just under our thighs so I don't understand how oil coolers or synthetic oil will help. Cool the oil, sure and I run both but to alleviate the "problem" you need to cool the exhaust temps with a richer fuel mixture - ie a tuner of some kind.
On my '08 the only thing that helped was "True Duel Header Pipes" It rounted the pipes differently enough that I could leave my right foot on the Floorboards..........and it lost that rear pipe on the right side also and that helped keep my thigh from burning up.
I bought the Vance & Hines True Duel Header Pipes. You can use any mufflers even stock if you want.
