$1400 out the door with tax for the 103 kit with 255's. I had it done at the dealer where I bought the bike because it is still under warranty and I wanted to keep it that way. Had it done when I had 4400 miles on it. No dyno time with new pistons rings and jugs, but I am happy with canned Fuelmoto map. I have put about 800 miles on it and I'm very pleased. Great bang for the bucks.
I still can't believe your dealer had the ***** to quote you $1600. My worst quote was six hours at $75 which doesn't even come close to OP's quote. You can do some massive engine upgrades with that kind of cash.
To get back on topic, I think you will be real happy with the 255's. If you decide to DIY, feel free to PM any of us on the forum with questions. Real friendly crowd here willing to help.
