I've stopped for now but stuck with the crap I already bought. If I decide to complain, I will. Especially with what these accessories cost. H-D quality control sucks.

in 06 i decided to buy a yamaha roadliner. nice bike, but when i went to get accessories, all that was available was a clip on windshield and a made by corbin solo seat. no other accessories were available. i'm glad i traded it off for another harley. i will not go back to metrics, lifes too short for that much frustration.

Finally, go buy an American leather jacket.
I work for a US Mill, one of the last of my kind in West Coast, So your point?

You probabaly process coils from France, Japan, Brazil, Germany, and as you previously mentioned Korea and China. What about CSI in southern California but is that slab will that uses all of the melt sources previously mention. But what about Steel Dynamics, Nucor, US Steel and Mittal. But again what is your point?

But to your point Harley Davidson being a Mid West Manufacturer most likely use mills that are close to their plants. Albeit there is some foreign content in our bikes but by no means the "all" as you have characterized.

Please read my past posts, Langlitz Leathers are the best American made jackets out there, So your point? Also if wish to know Wesco shoe are also very good shoes and particularly the boot I ride with. Just wondering if that is your choice in the shop or on the bike?

But since you have degraded this to a school yard pissing match what jacket and boots are you wearing?

And please what is the point of your ignorant Korean/Chinese Statment?

Please go on.

Been riding HDs since the early 70s, and they just keep getting better. Yes - pricey but hwat isn't anymore. I will say that the OEM "bolt on" parts are at times far from being a bolt-on. I get a kick out of the posts where guys are trying to install their detachable hardware and backrests, I have yet to see one go on as instructed. I always inform the poor soul to throw the directions away and try to figure it out, unfortunately it is easier than following the instuctions !

I know its hard to believe with the P&A book being over 800 pages and the Drag and Custom Chrome books being 3" thick but there was a time, not to long ago, that if you wanted to add a part to your bike you had to make it yourself or modify something that wasnt designed to fit your bike.

Just might be the actual difference between BIKERS and MOTORCYCLISTS!
