Its OK. I understand where you are coming from. However, I have a problem secondary to this "simple cam swap". And so far, apperently nobody else has gone down this road before. Sooo.....I hope that when this is figured out I can help somebody else (maybe you) avoid this mess. The "actual cam swap" is very simple and straightforward. I piggybacked on the original post stating the swap was simple but....there are pitfalls although I have not figured out what they are. I researched doing this swap for almost a year before I did it. I bought the tools. I took my time. There is something that is avoidable which has left me with a bike that won't start. You don't want this to happen to you. When it is figured out (most likely not by me), I will let you know. I don't know how this will help but I did order the Screamin' Eagle hand held code reader from Surdyke. According to UPS it will be here Friday. We'll see what that tells me. Keep smiling!
