Default OK I'm confused

On the HD website when you look at the EG standard it says it comes wired for cruise control.

No radio, etc.

On the EG classic you have radio and stuff, but it says nothing about being wired for cruise or anything about having cruise.

Does the EG classic have cruise?

Nope on the cruise. I loooked at EG Classic, but went for the Ultra as you get the cruise, four speakers, intercom, CB and the lowers. But they are both great rides. I use the cruise all the time on major roads.

It's easy to have cruise installed on your Classic. You can not put it on the other models though (softails, sportys, etc).

I have the standard, went back and bought the radio, it's prewired for cruise. I would have to change the switch housings (not gonna do it), and order the cruise control module.

Feroce,

Did that include the new handlebar mounts...meaning new switch covers?

Yes, the complete kit. It is on page 505 of the HD Accessories book.

Adding cruise was the first mod to my Classic also... had it done as part of the "deal" for free before it even left the lot. I use it daily as my commute is 40 miles, 1 way.

Salesman at the dealership that I am going to buy from says that Cruise Control installatoin is about a 3 hour job.

They will install it for cost of cruise control and $174 labor.
