iPod interface
Why hasn't an independent supplier started making stuff like this that would use the Harmon-Kardon wiring harness to add things. That's all these things are that harley is selling. The prices they are asking for them defy gravity. I would think that the profit on these $400 devices is about $390.
installed mine yesterday... took about 20 minutes.... very easy to do.
rand the cable under the seat and into the side bag... didn't drill or cut any holes into the side bag.... it closes perfectly well and smoothly having the cable come out from under the seat and into the bag. ipod sit firmly at bottom of bag. controls are nice and smooth... very easy install and very happy with performance

I use the iphone in the pocket and Oakley O ROKER PRO sunglasses with blue-tooth. They work great. For instance, driving down the road jamming, phone rings and music turns down, tap a call button and talk. People on the receiving end of the call says it sounds great like a bi-plane in the background. Really clear and I never take my eyes off the road. That's my tunes for the road.
Can you please help me with following questions before spending so much (in Switzerland, you can usually double the price for HD parts)?
"The iPod can be remotely stored in the saddlebag with the separate purchase of P/N 90200002 and Cable P/N 72648-11": is there a (waterproof) plug in between for removing the saddlebag and how is the saddlebag hole sealed?
Is there enough space on top of the HK unit on a FLHXSE (2010) to both install the interface and a BT-454 Titan amp (4.4" x 3.2" x 1.8"). Re amp, will I face similar problems as @bobros and @ferromet with wiring and audio quality?
What is the weight of the interface?
I understand that I would need the interface 76476-10, P/N 90200002, cable P/N 72648-11 and connector kit P/N 69200033. Can I plug an iPhone into the end connector in the saddlebag or is an additional connector required?
It is very pricey, but tempting to easily manage 1300+ songs (and charging the iPhone) on the road in any weather.

Did the install this past weekend (HD Part No: 76476-10) on my 2011 FLHTK. Fairly
simple install EXCEPT for the pin terminal insertions you have to make on the OEM
35-Pin connector (that goes into the head unit); what a pain. It is so tight at the back
of that connector and it's really tough to maneuver and get those pins in there properly.
Very satisfied overall and now I can control all the iPod functions from my handlebar switches.

Subscribing to this, also have used MP3 cd's that I have made and it seems to me that some of the files that I put on the cd never did play while others would play multiple times, I wonder if the HK stereo has certain limitations such as only being able to choose a song / file between 1 and 100, where does that leave the other 50 some songs that you put on a disc? Anyone have any insight on this?

A grommet is provided; same solution that's been used for many years with the saddlebag spoiler LED accessory.

Re amp, will I face similar problems as @bobros and @ferromet with wiring and audio quality? The original instructions issued with the interface module kit had a mistake in the wiring directions re pinouts 19 and 31; that's how ferromet "fixed" his problem; HD has since revised the instructions to correct the mistake. As for the Titan amp/module combination fitting, I can only reference my experience with the CB module (same dimensions as the interface module) and Arc 125.2 amp. With the Arc and CB module, the module must be mounted below the radio, not on top of the radio/amp. The Arc amp's dimensions are 8.25" X 4.8" X 1.7".

I'm particularly intrigued by the notion that the install with the ipod in the saddle bag can be done without buying the extra cable P/N 72648-11.
Anyone got the instructions and feels like scanning them in? H-D hasn't posted them on line yet.
