I decided to give this a try. For now I only bought the shocks and the energy suspension bushing. I ordered 2 bushing kits. Since I have 2 bushing kits should I replace both upper and lower bushings on each shock. I'm able to get the bushing out of the shock pretty easy.

Since going back stock I haven;t bottomed out but maybe twice in the last 1000 miles.
Did you set the sag to one third of travel when sitting on the seat before cruising?

I finished the air ride using the monroe shocks on my 2015 SGS. I used the the energy suspension kit for both upper and lower eyelets on the shocks. The spacers that came with the kit are a 1/4inch longer than the stock spacers so I ended up turning the energy suspension spacer inserts down to the same as stock. Every thing went as planned except I can only get 50lbs in the shocks before the nut for the rear axel is hitting the right side muffler.
Any ideas what to do about that

Do you have a photo? From what I've read, I thought it would only hit if lowered too far, not raised. The nut should be above the muffler and some guys were denting the mufflers for clearance when lowered.

Im going to be doing a set on a 2015 SG, where are you all mounting the compressor? I have seen some mounted in the fairing, and I have seen some mounted behind the right side panel. I'm not sure if the bike has ABS or not, haven't had the bike infront of me to pull the panel off. on my roadking I mounted inside the panel, but its an 08. any help would be greatly appreciated!

thanks guys

Barnabie

Here's a link to my solution to finding leaks. I used a manifold so all leaks can be easily traced OR if I pop a line , I can bypass it very quickly.
