The more weight the better it works for a smooth ride...? correct?

What you guys think would happen if I used 3/8" line? (I can get every fitting and hose from work) Just wondering tho...

In theory, it would be like blowing through a shake straw vs a normal straw, the hose would be more open for faster ups and downs...?

Unless you have a hotrod compressor you are just adding more volume to have to fill by running bigger lines. I'm running 1/4 line off the compressor to 2 1/8 lines to the shocks. Dumps in 2 sec and tops out in 7-8 sec. Fast enough for me.

Default Arnott Air Suspensions

They work great.....get the Aldans not the Bilsteins for a softer ride. The best price I found was at realbikergear.com

Nice work perk...

I will let you know when I do mine here in a couple months.

So this won't work on my '12 SG? I thought a few guys said its not much of a difference between them.

Just did a "12 SG which had a lowering kit already installed. I left the kit on and used the first hole. It was ON THE GROUND! Looked awesome! It had a really low profile tire which kept it from rubbing when aired down.

Your theory is flawed. If you had unlimited pressure on the end of that straw you would be correct. Trust me. I've done over a dozen of these systems, stick with the 1/8 tube that comes with the shocks.

The 1/4" line works just as good. Seriously. I used it for everything. It was easier for me to find 1/4" fittings for the setup. Could only find 1/8" fittings at my local ACE Hardware, where 1/4" were everywhere. Or just sit home and order from airridefittings.com

1/4 works but it takes twice as long to fill an empty 1/4 line as it does a 1/8. The 1/4 dumps too quick and is harder to adjust on the fly.

Anyone know what size of air line comes on the Harley Ultra stock? I think the air shocks both Monroe & Gabriels use the 1/8" but the Harley ones are just a tad bit bigger. I thought they were the same size & thought I have been looking for the tee that I already have. Went out to the bike to check it out & the air shock line was too small. Back to plan A.
