Air ride took a dump a few weeks back and I finally got around to finding out what went wrong.
The seal that connects the motor to the tank is cracked and leaking, it's not any of the fittings.
Since I have abs I had it mounted under the battery box which I do not recommend and will not do again. I think what happened is that the compressor was tucked in so tight that over time the impact from road bumps and bottom of the battery box caused too much stress on the compressor. I think I may just purchase the compressor set-up from Aarnot that mounts under the frame. I still love the air ride and think this is an awsome set-up.
Has anyone addressed the fact the kickstand stands the bike up straight
When lowered all the way down?
Black bike on the left is lowered all the way with this system. Ultra on the right is stock. I don't see where the bike is "straight up". I guess if the front is lowered drastically then it could be an issue. Couple of companies make wedges for the kickstand mount for lowered bikes to change the angle of the stand.
Elev8trman, I had the same issue because my front end is lowered 1.5".
I just removed the two bottom bolts on the mount plate and put a couple washers betweenthe plate and the frame, it just kicks the plate out about 1/4" and gives you the lean angle your looking for.
This winter when I put the bike on the lift for this mod I just might try to make a bracket like arnotts' bracket to mount my compressor under like Clark has shown and let ya'll know... If your interested that is..
So I just bought the Monroes 785 and viair 92c.
My question is I have two of the ACC. switches laying around, will 1 ACC. switch power the air pushing up, then pushing down dump the air? Or do I need to use both switches.

Anyone have photos of compressor mounted on 09 later street glide, I want to stay away for the fairing. Already have amp and tweeters in there and looks clean. Dont mind making a bracket if need be, just need to see where and how!
Thanks and Happy Holidays to all...
