I just got done installing the homemade air ride set-up on my 2011 streetglide and am loving it. Put the compressor and solenoid in my saddle bag,its nice and clean, also put quick connect fittings on all lines so the bag comes off per normal. Also with a psi gauge where the old air temp was is a huge help, For me the ride is night and day compared to the stock garbage. The only issue would be if there was a failure away from home, I would be in trouble cause I left my lowering blocks on and the rear fender barley and I mean barley touches a c hair. I could ride it home but hey thats what AAA is for. When its all the way up no issues and I have 4 inch hi-outputs on! To sum it up this system is rocking for $200 bucks its a way better ride, easy to install, and LOOKS BAD-*** SLAMMED ON THE GROUND! Merry x-mas to all!!!!!

Josh I'm glad to hear you completed the install and are happy with it. I think I forgot to mention that I leave the stock airlines in place in case of emergency. You have two extra fittings for the shocks in the kit. Slightly inlarge the hole in the plastic cap so that it fits the HD air lines. Put one of the extra o-rings on the line and tape the wlole thing up so you wont loose the cap or o-ring and to keep out dirt. I case of compressor failure, line failure, switch failure, solenoid failure etc etc etc, you can manually add air and keep on ridin!!! For some people the PERFECT set up doesent exist. This one is damn close!
Awesome thanks cooler! Also the help from cooler, outlaw, and big time was like having 3 more tools in the box, these guys know there sh*t. Thanks again coolerman69!

No problem brother! Thats SUPPOSED to be what the forums are for.
Coolermans statement was aimed at the posters that wanted to install them, never adjust them and expect them to be the best thing since the shirt pocket. They are most definitely better than the best shock harley produces on its best day. I have never owned or ridden a set of ohlins but i've never heard anyone say the monroes werent better. They are better than any of the other mass produced air ride systems. I've installed 20+ of these systems and NEVER have had any complaints about the ride. I have 3 more scheduled for next week. Not everyone can be made happy no matter what. Unless you are one of these people, try it, you'll like it.
For $200 I think you're right. I'll give it a try. Can you tell me what shock you would do for my 09 Ultra? Monroe or Gabriels? And part number?
Got my shocks in today (Monroe's) and already have them modified. Now I'm just waiting on the air compressor. Finding a clean and secure mounting spot is going to be the most challenging part of this whole install...I think.
