Gabriels #49304. I have run it without the compressor. I had a dump valve that had an odd size line that I could not get sealed, so I disconnected the compressor until I got the switch that I wanted & got rid of the dump valve.
The only dump valve solenoid to buy is the one from Grainger. I've had others that were nothing but junk. Also buy the push to connect fittings from airedup.com Saves allot of headaches.

This is true the solenoid is great and it's loud which is one thing that I like and the fittings are leak free! The only leak I had was on the check valve on the compressor, it came like that from viair. Half a turn and it was fixed! Thanks to HTNHARD I was able to get this whole thing installed in under two hours.... Awesome set up and my wife like the ride way better than the stock set up!

Y'all got a part number for the Grainger solenoid of choose???
I like this because the lowering is mechanical instead of electric & when you raise it, it runs the pump. http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/index....oducts_id=9888
I made a box to hold it & put it just above the starter since I am running true duals.
a lot to read thru, i have a 92 FLHTC I'm getting ready to start this project on. Also I've been kicking around installing the 93 and up bags. Any suggestions for my model year?
Since adding my 26 wheel the bike now drops too low and fender now rests on the tire. Is there anyway to prevent the air ride from dropping this low? Would hate to be riding and lose air and contact the fender.
You may have to install different shocks that don't collapse so far. My 140-90-16 Dunlop does that also, but my Kenda Challenger & Metzler ME880 did not. Thinking of going to a 150-80-16 on mine. But since you have changed your wheel size & that is the look you want, if you look at the frame & the swing arm, you might be able to bolt or weld something in to act as a bump stop. Good luck & let us know what you find.
