really? putting down more people's bikes?
i'm sure your girlfriend ralph loves his wide glide.
no one came into this thread to hear your opinion of the OP's work or his project, so leave it out.
i'm done with your joke ***, i'm not gonna take anymore away from this guy's thread than you already have.
Also- if anyone is interested in putting HD's new Agitator wheel on a earlier bike, I will be documenting and shooting photos as I do it. I am currently waiting on the rotors and install kit hopefully next week as well.
I was thinking of this, I will be looking forward to your updates on the wheels...
You keep saying "we". Are you building your bike yourself, or are your service techs building it? Not that it matters, just wondering.
post 1 he stated...."I" can build just as cool Street Glide" quit confusing me boogaloodude post 75 he gives a defintion of GM for SLOW PEOPLE,,,I WE can build just as cool street glide great grammar teacher.. GO BEARS
Lookin good. Can ya give us a hint on the paint theme???
Similiar to the new SESG but with white, gray, blue and black. I am lucky enough to have a really talented painter who has done many projects for me in the past- I find its easier to give him my ideas- and let him go to town. He hasn't let me down yet!
toastman your post above makes about as much sense as the op who claims he was a GM taking a se road king and making a street glide out of it..nada values below
se road king 13,685
regular road king 9,300
my choice flht 7,900 $5,600 less to put into motor and customizing and already has the fairing
no need for me to call any names back..... your posts explain it all.
really the way I would go is buy a 2002 flhtc $8900 book value have the fairing, stereo and tourpac with a timken bearing crank and still have $4,785 left over for mods but to each there own
Ok- this is the last time I acknowledge you because you are one of those ****** that pi$$es on everyone else because you know it all. Book values are just that, book values. In the real world Road Kings are really soft right now, especially pre 09 models. SERK are not immune to the market either, because you either love the gold tiger themed bike or you hate it- and THERE ARE A LOT OF THEM OUT THERE. And, lets see here, most of them were sold to guys that are pretty well off, and a lot of those guys have bought newer CVO's, and maybe these same guys don't want to take the time or effort in selling the old stuff so they will let it go for a song. Are you following me here? Was this bike my first choice? No. Would I have liked to have a classic, ultra or FLHT? Sure. Do most stock baggers have 103's in them stock, plus all the crap? No. Hydraulic clutch, chrome switchgear, lots of stuff you can take off and sell on Ebay? And since you are positive I am not who I say I am I obviously didn't have any takeoff stuff from my past- or any connections for that matter. Ok I am done- sorry guys for the rant.

I am building it myself- but since I am doing it at work, I always have help when I need it. My guys still can't figure out why I am even bothering- but January is usually slow so it gives me something to do in the downtime.
good, focus on all that unimportant bullshit instead of "hey, here's a fun little RK to SG build i'm doing, enjoy the step by step pics i'm nice enough to post up for those who wana follow along."
mommy and daddy didn't flog you enough, stop being a dick.
riding a bike for a long time doesn't mean you're not a douche for bitching a guy down when he's posting up something he's trying to do to his bike.
