I'm in the process of changing my LED's in the tach and incase I booger this thing up I'm gonna look for some different gauges other than Harley. Tired of the condensation etc. Plus I want something a little unique if I spend the $$. I know about the Dakota Digital gauges but is there anyone else making something for a bagger?
If you go to something like denniskirk.com and search the harley shop for dash accessories and instruments you can see some of the manufacturers of other gauges like pro-cycle, etc.
I got a quote from my dealer yesterday on Dakota digital gauges. $930 including tax. I'm pretty tempted. The more I think about changing the LED's the more I want to just be completely different and get these gauges. I wish they had an air pressure gauge so I could hook it up to my air ride.
I think they just came out with an air pressure gauge. Bounty Hunter posted on this a while back. I think the part number was dhc-4200. It was a rocker box mounted gauge with compressor switches, but that doesn't mean it couldn't be modified to fit in the dash. I haven't been able to find it, but I bet if you call Dakota Digital they can tell you about it.
BTW - You have the nicest looking Ultra I have ever seen. Well done.
