Default exhaust leak

What's the easiest way to know you have an exhaust leak. Just installed dresser duals and would like to know if i have a leak. Changed the gasketsand just want to make sure i didn't pinch them

what about using a lighter and see if the flame flickers around the unions and at the head pipe?

Let your bike cool off take some soapy water in a spray bottle and spray it around the pipe you will need a remote starter switch to crank over the engine or do the same thing by hold your hand up to the jug to see if you feel air blowing out.

Definitely wait till it's at normal temp. Mine will pop if I blip the throttle before it hits normal temps, after that she's pop free.

Use a cigarette.

Follow all the joints with the smoke.

Best way I have found to do a new header or reinstall from and old school bike tuner is to tighten snug, warm up the motor and let it cool and tighten again. Do this a few times and you'll never have leaks.

Ponch,

I've had nothing but trouble with the stock gaskets. I always use the SE gaskets and double up if necessary. The stock gaskets have to be formed and tend to squeeze out.
