WOW! Way back when I originally asked about plug replacement frequency it was a random question due to the fact the rear plug (iridium sp?) was as bad as it was after just 9 months or so. I did not know it would generate into this wealth of information.
Anyway, thanks & I did replace them with standard Autolite plugs and will most likely do so again.
(Oh, and I did use a small amount of the gray anti-seeze as I have a bottle of it that will likely out last my grandchildren....)
Remember to use Acme model #56-78630 spark plug socket with silicone (not rubber) insert. I was told this by a 3rd cousin of a friend who is married to a guy who knows a Harley Mechanic.
