Id be very surprised if FuelMoto wasnt aware of everything about a stage 1 download. That said, I recently posted a thread asking about a similar situation and didnt get a single reply. The scenario was this. I know a person who bought a 2000 RKC (fuel injected) with 95" BB and 203 cams. The original owner says he had a SERT on the bike but lost the SERT button so the new owner is left with either buying a new SERT or different tuner. In an effort to avoid buying a new SERT and having to pay for dyno time we decided maybe a Power Commander would be a cheaper way to go since he was thinking about changing some things that would require a new map. The Power Commander would allow him to get a new map without dyno time and save some money. My question was would the ECM need to be flashed back to stock callibration before installing the Power Commander. I still dont know the answer. Anyone else know?
As I understand the Power Commander (series) it is an add on unit ... and only adds fuel to the baseline ... so, if the baseline is already enriched, the PC will only have to add a little (in comparison to the stock) ....
I am not sure whether the PC maps take into consideration the baseline ... i.e., whether it is being added to stock or Stage I download ....
I don't know. I just know that my 2011 RGU was richer with the factory download.
maybe the stage 1 hd download works different in the 10/11 beings they have the CAT. beings from what I've been reading they really haven't been tested yet. or did i miss something?

I installed a Vance and Hines Pro Pipe, Fuel Moto/Screaming Eagle air intake and a PCV pre programmed for my situation from Fuel Moto. NO other mods or down loads. I got my first chance to finally ride the bike with the mods this morning. All I can say is WOW! She is smoother, snappier, throaty and definately much much cooler. I won't be modifying anything else on this 96" motor. Perfect now!
Installed HD stage II download when new. Bike got under 100 highway miles for first tank and a dog. Much better at 1000 miles, between 180 and 200 highway miles per tank now. With much more power.
Alright, WTF! Now this is even more confusing. Did a search and came up with this thread that had a link to nightrider.com that explains that no download or tuner is needed when doing the stage one upgrade to 07-and newer Harleys.https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...ownload-2.html anybody Try this?

Thats what I have and thats all you need for 07 and above efi's. Problem is that most have stuck with the tuner myth so the BS just lives on.....
