Might as well go ahead and buy the set of Hogtunes speakers that you're going to want. You can put them in and retrieve the grommets with only one trip inside the fairing!

Was checking out the Hog Tunes as well. Probably a project for the middle of winter. Anyway, I upgraded from an 03 Fatboy to the 07 Road Glide and I am totally impressed. Saw the Mirage Orange color and knew it was for me. The best part is that I was at a ride last week and the bike really stood out from the crowd.

Totally dig the color!!!

I have been looking at those windsheilds for the past few days. can I get your first impression of it compared to the stock one. Also which size did you get and how did you determine which one to get.

BTW I replaced my speakers with Hog Tunes, BIG difference!!!

Thanks,

The Orange is definitely right-on. I ordered mine in Yellow Pearl, liked it since it first came out and have the purple graphics and accent lighting too engrained in my mind to change. Roadies definitely stand out from the crowd, you were lucky to find an in-stock. It seems most dealers are much too conservative and think the median buyer demographic matches Buick! Years ago, Rubber Glides had two tones that matched ultras, that's why they're gone. Keep us posted as you continue personalizing your bike.

fyi...Clearview will ask you for your height and inseam measurements then tell you which size you need. I'm 6-4/32" and they recommended a +3". I got a +2 because it was in stock and I needed it in a hurry. It works, but the +3 would be perfect. In other words, they know their stuff.
