I own an 08 FLHRC out here in jersey...was pretty warm today so I figured I would start her up to see how she was doing...unfortunately neither one of my key fobs would deactivate the alarm....im assuming something has been or needs to be reset...has this happened to anyone?? if so...HELP!!
well it's a 2008 and you didn't mention that you changed batteries in fob, so i would have to say change the batteries first, then get out the owners manual, and set your pin if the dealer did not fill out the wallet card for you.
I am on the 2nd set of batteries in the FOBS and ready to swap again this summer. They last (for me) 1-2 years but I usually swap out sooner.
Another tip....for the spare FOB put the battery in upside down to keep if from going dead as fast. Good to do that when I take it on a trip for a spare. Also as others said make sure you set and know your code.
