Redline Heavy Shockproof in the tranny. Redline MTL in the primary. Its the only thing I use. You will not be disappointed. I also run Redline 20W50 in the crankcase and add one bottle of their fuel system cleaner at each oil change. I'm sold on their products because they WORK!

I say again....WOW! Many thanks to all that contributed. In all fairness to everyone in the forum, I took the heel shifter off the first day I got her home. I was a sportbike junkie for many years, and trying to "unlearn" that bit of muscle memory was too much for me. The bike is still pretty new, only 2700 miles on the clock thus far. I plan on waiting until the next scheduled oil change, then will try the Redline oil. Thanks again for all the help!

AIM Tamachi, variable pessure clutch and billet pressure plate will solve all your problems. One of the first things i change on a new harley. Cost a lot more than using a diferent oil but the difference is night and day.

Thanks for the input, rastas.....I've already visited the AIM website several times looking for a clutch upgrade before I start this build. Look for my other posting titled "Just an after thought" in the touring bike section. Paradise Lost

I am finding it a little touchy on my 12 RK also. I am getting a little better at finding it now but it really hasn't been much of an issue. I never use N at stoplights, usuallly park in gear also.

More finesse and control in the toe for shifting. Lose the heel shifter.

With the clutch pulled in rev it up a little bit, helps it pop in. Synthetic helped but the biggest difference was the heim joints to replace the tie rod ends on the shift shaft.

one thing that hasn't been mentioned, it's easier to get it in neutral if you are still rolling, than it is if you are completely stopped.
