Default cut down windshield...

So I have looked all over and can't find what I am looking for. Has anyone cut down down their stock windshield with any kind style or flair to it?

I am wanting to cut mine to come to a point in the middle. I think it would look good with yaffe's MBB.

Anyone with pictures of this?

I dis it to my clear stock flht shield, worked good til I thought id try to dye tint it. There was a film that didn't like the idea. If you have no prob do it. Take it off, cover 1 side in masking tape. Draw cut u want, cut with jig saw. Sand edge with 200 grit, ur golden.

I've done a few. Tape, cut and sand. Some help holding it while you cut helps.

You might want to use several layers of tape to protect the remaining plastic when you cut.

I've cut several. Do a thorough search and you'll find the videos and many discussions on this forum. It's easy if you're handy with tools. Go slow, measure repeatedly, finish the edges carefully.

I have found that a bandsaw works much better than a jigsaw if you have access to one. The key is to use a fine tooth blade which ever one you use. Tape, cut, sand to bevel the edges.

You can work the edge first with a file or a series of files to get the edge to the exact shape and contour you desire. Don't forget to bevel the edges slightly. Finish with several different sandpaper grits until smooth.
