But ethanol makes people rich at your expense. Politicians get campaign dollars and write off, oil companies dilute their gas and charge the same or more, corporation farmers get subsidies,high prices and guarantneed sales. Oh, I do not buy for a minute than I am saving the envirnoment because of 10% ethanol. More CO2 is made growing and making the fule than is saved. It is a shell game and you will never get the right answer.
Wake up people, what's it take to make you understand what's really going on here. It's all about money and nothing more. If you get less mileage what does that mean, dah, more frequent fill ups. What does that mean, dah, more revenue for state and federal from gas taxes.
I buy Av gas for my two cycle equipment to get away from ethanol. But last week was talking to a guy who seemed a bit smart on the stuff. He claims av gas is slower burning that reg gas as aviation engines run at a fairly slow rpm level. He believes that it still burning as the exh valves are opening so you loose some of the power and if this is true,I'm wondering if this is hard on the exh valves.
