Anyone have any opinions on the quality of the bars, and / or the company? I'm thinking about the Gangster 1.5's on my RG and called around to a few places and all they would tell me was "we won't deal with them. I'll just leave it at that". I tried to ask politely why and got the same response. Any experiences here?

I am putting a set of these on a buddy's eglide classic tonight. He already has them on his Road King. Another buddy just ordered his Pist Apes from them too. I am running the Carlini Springer adapter plate as well.
Fit and quality are second to none. Carlini no longer has any vendor selling their stuff, for the most part. At least bars that I know of...
They can be difficult to deal with at times, like not answering the phone or returning messages. My experience with them was just fine.
Don't be afraid to call them direct. I think you'll be very pleased with the product.
There is enough room to run the internal wiring in them. Their products are top notch and we have never experienced a problem with them either. I think the size of the hole looks small in relation to the fact that the bars are 1.5" not the normal 1.25".
I was less than pleased with their CS and the product when I put the Evil Apes on my old RKC. The welds inside looked horrendous and like no one bothered cleaning them up, this made running wires a nightmare, the hole at the bottom needed to be drilled larger, and the name plate fell off within a week, not that I care but you would think they'd at least do a good job of keeping their name on their own product. Also the guy I dealt with had absolutely no clue what size clutch and brake lines I needed so I had to wait for the bars to come in and measure, how do you sell bars and not know what length cables are needed?
They are good looking bars, maybe the model you are looking at will be different without the sharp bends, but they're not cheap either and for what I paid for my old set I was not at al satisfied with either the product quality or the CS.
Just my $0.02 based on my experience, maybe I just got a bad set of bars, who knows.
I have not had any problems with Carlini's. Rex has been tremendous help. Responded to emails in a quick manner along with helping me out with other questions I had. They however do not ship to APO, but a lot of places don't.
