Like Larry-the cable-guy says:
"The grass may look greener on the other side of the fence but when you get over there you discover there's a septic field problem"!

Some folks are Harley folks, and others are not.
If you buy another brand (which I did once upon a time) every time you hear or see a Harley, you'll get have an itch that you cannot scratch.

I can kinda see where you're coming from, but look at it from this angle ...

At least the OP is out there spending cash and thereby supporting our weak economy, helping some less fortunate American worker get a pay check to support this family, buy groceries, etc, etc on down the line.

I'd rather have guys like the OP out there spending cash right now than just sitting on a pile of it like a lot of cash-rich corporations and individuals are doing. Their wait-and-see attitude ain't helping nobody.

I hope the OP buys a new bike every other month, and God love him if he does.

Like I've said before. It's your $$, buy what makes you happy. You might go over to the Victory Forum and get some good feedback there from folks that have already done what your thinking about doing. It could be worth the read.... Good luck in any case.

When I was looking, I gave victory a good hard look. I almost bought a vision. The bike rode like a dream, an the electric windshield was sweet. I just couldn't get past the buck Rogers styling.

I actually like the looks of the CC. I rode both the CC and the vision, and was very disappointed in the CC. It was very awkward at stops, I had trouble getting my footing, and walking the bike. No such trouble on the vision though.

If you like it more then your king, and are comfortable on it, go for it. But before you do, ride an ultra, and a wing just to be sure.

I hear you man. I don't doubt that they are well made bikes, but most of them look way too George Jetson to me. I understand going for a "different look" and all, but they could have they went too far for me. Personally, I'd rather have an Indian than a Victory. Way more style.....

I'm so tired of seeing these Vic threads. Just go.
