You only have 3 colors (short of the Ness special) to choose from, limited parts for customizing, and limited service locations.

My advice is ride your bike for a year and if you still don't like it, try the Victory. (2011 Victory CC currently had a recall on bad handle bar clamps, and they have other recalls, so they have their problems as well.)

Victories all look like plastic bikes to me. I don't know what it is. Best of luck with the decision.

I was kinda thinking along these lines too. How many miles have you put on your 2012 RK? More important, why would you buy it if you were considering another brand? Sounds like you needed to do more research, and may have been premature in your buying decision.

Bottom line is…it's your money. Buy whatever bike you want.

Go for it. You only live once. How much are they offering on trade, or are you keeping the RK? Personally, I don't care what someone else rides, or how they spend their money. I just know what works for me. Have fun! Like BP said, there goes the T-Shirt collection, though!

I LOVE my rocker and would not part with it, BUT if I bought another bike it WOULD be a Victory. The stupid, repeatable warranty issues and the outrageous, toyota like response to their CUSTOMERS by HD (Let's all make believe it's not happening...), would make me a Victory buyer without hesitation.

Then you (and the OP) could get T-Shirts that say 'My other Bike WAS an H-D!' Uh-oh...I may have just given BMW, Honda and Victory a free marketing idea! Well, I guess they COULD use the help!

Actually, I got this King last August, and have been riding it whenever I had the chance.

After doing a stage one ( $$$ ) it almost has the power of a stock Victory. Help me out here, I know this is not the best place to ask this, but, give me some REAL good reasons not to do it.
If the reason you do it is because you love your Road King, I'll keep my mouth shut.

Thanks for all the reply's, even the flames. Since my original post I have done tons of searching and came to the conclusion that most all manif. are about the same. The term "it's normal" came up quite a bit. I've only had this bike a year ( thanks mom. R.I.P. ) and it Looks like I'm keeping my Harley till I can't ride anymore. Don't remember who said it, but, you're right, I will be looking every time I hear that Rumble, thanks for the "Boot To The Head", I needed that. LOL. Reminded me why I got a Harley in the first place, I always wanted one. For the ones that got "offended", ...... never mind, you ain't worth it.
