I use it on the OL car but made no difference on the bike. Probably cause I use scratch-X a lot.

I think it may not feel the same because the bike has more vertical surfaces. The sides of my truck don't seem to have as much contaminats as the hood or other horizontal surfaces. Much easier to cly bar the bike, buffing is differant story

i was told by a painter that its not a good idea to clay a paint job to often as it takes off a small amount of clear off as well as the top layer of contaminants, could be wrong but never know, i use a detailer to clean off bugs and a few good clean micro towels,

also piston puller i dont go through car washes, i make em hand wash! its only $5 more for that and it gets way cleaner

I will pass on using clay...if you clean it often you wont have any buildup anywhere......I give the bike a complete detailing with orange pledge every couple hundred miles.

Yep, I agree. I notice the most contaminants on the hood.
