Trying to update the software on the HK radio on my 07 Ultra. I D/l the file, when I click on the file to open it, there is the time frame to download page that comes up and the page that says “What would you like to do with the file, OPEN or SAVE.
When I click on OPEN and everything disappears and nothing happens ever!
When I click on SAVE, it starts the whole process all over again.
This Laptop is running VISTA.
Tried in Firefox and MS Exlporer
Any thoughts?
The reason for the update is because the CB works occasionally, sometimes pushing the ON button for it shows a COM OPTION NOT INSTALLED. Pulling the Maxi fuse for a few minutes seems to clear it as it does turn on after that.
Thanks
Murph
Figured out the download issues.....will update HK radio tomorrow and see what happens to the CB problem.

Reason: Update
Hello All....Happy New Years! I realize this post is somewhat old but, I've gone through 10 disks and have not been able to get any of them to work. I'm running Windows 10, tried using Nero Burn Lite at a low write speed but, can't burn any less than 16x. My reason for the update is I want to install a Bluetooth interface and need this software update to do it. I have a 2007 HD Ultra Classic with the 96cu motor. Any help would be sincerely appreciated!

Disks? You should be using a USB flash drive. I can help you with this by remotely accessing the computer on which you are trying to do this. It should take less than five minutes or so. If you would like my help, please drop me a private message and I will give you my contact information.
I`m no computer guy, but familiar with the HK Radio, as I`m riding an Ultra 09.
RiderX, please tell me, how do you want to get the upgrade going by an USB flash drive.
@ gvera, I used the free burning tool DeepBurner (highly recommended for this task in a post many years ago on this forum) - and the update worked just fine.

I was thinking it was a newer bike with a USB port. My mistake. I can still help you burn the CD properly though. Are you unzipping the files before burning them to the CD? Which version of Windows are you using?

You did not say what update you are trying to install, but take a look at this thread, see if it helps.
Great write up!! This was to and exact 'T' of what my system said during the upgrade. I printed this off and kept it handy while it was upgrading, just to monitor the process. Found it very helpful!!
Got my radio upgraded in no time and it was super simple, once I got the disc burned.
Thanks again!!
