There must be some sort of variance in these bikes as my '09 is perfect - nothing out of the ordinary at all. I'd ask the dealer to test ride another stock bike and see its the same as yours, or if you have to rent one for the day to compare. My TBW is great.

The OP is complaining that it is too responsive. Others complain that it hesitates. Those can't both be true.

Personally, I have no complaints about it at all.

09 FLHR is different but not in a bad way. Pretty used to it now.

I have TBW on my van. Hate it. The thought of having the same crappy / over sensitive / delayed throttle (it varies according to what day it is) response on my bike is not nice.

If the goal is to get TBW to behave like a cable, then why have TBW in the first place?

I hear that the Stage 1 upgrade get rid of the hesitation. Is this true?
Mine used to do that (hesitates on rev) before I put my PCV on, now it rev's just like I remember the cable setup did.....

We must be some lucky guys. Some folks would bitch if they were hung with a new rope. I keep hearing about this hesitation but I can't make it do that. My TBW is smooth as silk.

I HATE TBW!

Please don't respond with reasons not to convert and how superior FI is to carb!

Then why post? This is a forum, ya know.

This sounds quite logical, but, to make it more linear you would need more addresses in the (that particular table) map (to soften the steps),or did you just move the stop or start (and then modify)points in and make a steeper ramp?

Signed curious.....

I am too lazy to pull up the software to look at it.
