Go to Fuel Motos site and look at their dyno charts for the stock 96's with cams and the 107's as well. It'll give you a good idea of where you wanna start.

Stop right where you are. The 08 you are currently riding has different gearing than the bike you test rode. The rear belt pulley on your bike is a 66t and the touring bikes since 09 have been fitted with 68t rear belt pulleys. Yes you can put a 68 on your bike without a belt change. Do a search on here and other places for the info. Less than $200 and even if you decide to go big bore you will still want to fit the 68t rear belt pulley. It makes a noticeable difference.

No wet heads on the 14 Street Glide Graham.

A combination of things. It has a better ecm and new software strategy 614. It also has new cams that are close to the SE255. 2° more duration on the Intake 2° less on the exhaust. It doesn't have as much lift as the 255 and has little more lift than stock. These are not official numbers, but numbers I have found on internet and we all know these have got to be accurate. They do have more compression. Our dealership put a stage 1 with 2 in 1 and SEPST with upgrade map on a 14 street glide and says it runs ever bit as strong as a SE255 stage 2 upgrade to 103. It is the combination of all of it.

Andrews 48s and a proper tuner and tune. Your PC3 and true duels are killing ya. But yeah, bore/headwork/compression/big cams will walk the dog (at least in the harley world).

There are 3 things that produce torque: Stroke, Compression and Exhaust Velocity.

Increase any of these 3 ( or all of them,) and you increase the torque it produces.

As far as cams go there are several to choose from but for me only a few. 204's, TW222 and maybe the Andrew 48's or the 57's. I have the 204's in my 96" and it runs great and has for 27,000 miles. I'm wanting more though, so I'm where your at sorta. I have the 68 tooth pulley because mine is a 2010 model but I'm wanting a little more grunt from a 106 or a 107 kit.
Good luck on what you choose but a rear gear change and some 204's, good exhaust and tune, I think you'd be happy.

My 09FLHTP is in for cams right now!

Really happy with the way the 103 runs, but you can ALWAYS use a little more.

I'm now running FM's stage one setup w S&S SPO's.

Picked up a set of the dreaded SE255's Take offs from a SE motor for $100. Local Indy is installing them, should have it back next week.

ALL my riding is 2K-3K, wind it up to 4K when I'm in a hurry. This should be my last upgrade. Planning on riding this one into retirement!

My only other concern is if FM's map isn't as perfect as the Stage One I am running, may add AutoTune to the PCV and dial it in myself.

Did this same thing to the wife's 02FLHPI, fuel mileage was 36-38, she is now running 43-48 w/PCV and AutoTune. Recent trip down to Alabaster Caverns in Ok, we both made 48-53 mpg coming home on Ok. real gas no ethenal.
