That's weird! I paired 2 660s - a Road Tech and a Garmin. I only tried through the speakers. You ignore failure messages (for both pairing and synch) and for me, both gave audio fine, music and GPS prompts. I paired an iPhone 3GS (didn't work too well, but no surprises there as Apple do their own thing...) and a Blackberry at the same time as the Zumo, selecting Phone for the phone, and audio for the Garmin(s) - all worked fine. I have no idea why yours should differ (I did this with 2 software revisions for the infotainment system too.)
Jim
When you say you selected audio for the GARMIN, exactly what do you mean???? After the pairing, on the bike I went to Bluetooth, selected Zumo. Under Zumo, it shows my iPhone and it shows music from my iPhone ..... At this setting my iPhone pairing with the Zumo is being shown. Is there another setting for Audio that I am not seeing????
Sierra Electronics are located in my home town. They carry J&M and various brand products, etc. They have the connector "legalley" refers to in stock. I was there with my 2014 FLHTK, they showed the item to me. I think it was around $150. Plugs into the Harley headset connection. This is their website - http://www.sierra-mc.com
Give them a call if you are interested, they do a huge amount of mail order business...Ask for Diana or Kevin, the owners...Excellent place to do business with - very knowledgeable...

Ah, yes - I phrased that badly. leave the iPhone selected for "phone" but disconnect it for music, and select the Zumo for that.
I too just bought the Amber Whiskey SGS I dont know how to turn off the navigation on local riding. Your route is being calculated. Can anyone help with this issue?

If its saying that, you have a destination set. No need to turn it off (hold the power button down for 5 seconds to do that).
Instead Clear the destination. While viewing the map, cursor over to the little menu icon towards the right center of the map. Press that. Select stop.
Try the manual.

On the lower right hand side of the map screen you will see a menu icon (4 dots with lines) Press that icon.... On the top of the list you will see STOP.... Press stop and that will stop it from navigating to the destination that was selected.

Yesterday I deleted the Zumo pairing, then paired the Zumo again. The pairing works fine, however, I have absolutely no audio from the Zumo. I tried several things with no results. I went to Sierra Electronics in my home town. They handle J&M products along with other brands. I talked with the owner, he said to his knowledge the audio can only be obtained with the J&M plugin mentioned earlier on this thread, cost approximately $150...it plugs in to the headset connection, then the headset plugs into it... I apparently have a glitch somewhere, however, I am glad yours is working...

That really is strange - it works for most people it seems, just a few exceptions. You have to ignore the "failed" and "synch" messages, and select it for music, not phone, with your phone selected for phone, not music. Seems that doesn't work for a few people, goodness knows why - doesn't seem to have anything to do with the software version either. (Assume your Garmin has the latest firmware update?)
After a lot of troubleshooting and research I have found what I think is the best way to connect your Garmin to the Infotainment System. Without going through a lot of technical stuff this is why the Garmin does not play well with the new radios. The Infotainment system Bluetooth Protocol is for a Phone, the Garmin Bluetooth Protocol is for a Headset, the two will not play well with one another. I do not see Harley changing this just for a very few people as the system works well for most riders. I am like most of you I want the features provided by the Garmin GPS.
This is how I solved the issue and it works just like having an Auxiliary Input on the new radios. I purchased an FM transmitter (stereo) and connected it to the Garmin's Audio Output. I then selected the FM channel on the Infotainment system and saved it as a Favorite Station.
Now when I want to listen to the turn prompts or play my MP3's, listen to XM and get the weather and traffic alerts I just select FM and push the preset I saved. The phone synced to the radio (Not the Garmin) will work just as it did before but it will interrupt the radio no matter what function you are on. I never listened to any radio function on the old radio's I just left it in the AUX mode.
Paid $49.00 for the FM transmitter. Lots of them available some more expensive and some less expensive.
Just my way of solving the issue of using my Garmin with the new Infotainment system.
When you get down to it you could have a dozen Auxiliary Inputs if you wanted just by adding FM transmitters.

I used to use one to play music from my old MP3 player 8 or 9 years back, Jim. It's OK locally, but not so clever when you are touring, as you are forever running into areas where local stations use the FM Transmitter frequency. I gave up on it for that reason at the end of the day.
What I think is the best is for you to build an interface to interrupt whatever else (phone excepted) that we are listening to! :-)
