I can not understand why some people continue to take a chance with these vendors who have a history or poor performance or poor communication. In todays world of instant communication there is absolutely no excuse for someone passing the buck by saying it is a problem with a manufacture. If there is a problem with a manufacturer they need to quit charging credit cards until such time as the problem is resolved. They have your phone number as well as your email address and could advise you within 24 hours if that is the case. There are still plenty of good companies out there who do business correctly. Why take a chance with those who have less than stellar reputations? If you are buying strictly on price, you definitely get horned. Many times a company who does not have the product in their own inventory will advertise a price that is lower than the competition. And then, if the orders do come in. they will give you some **** and bull story about the manufacturer being at fault. That is called "operating out of an empty wagon."
OP comes on here, introduces himself and then responds twice in his introduction thread and then immediately starts his own thread on Direct Cycle...
Hmmmm... coincidence?
I think not.
LET ME SAY IT AGAIN.
I have been dealing with Direct since they were Wally's.
NEVER, EVER had 1 issue with them..
IN THE YEARS I have been dealing with them.
AM I sticking up for Direct Cycle?
YOU BET YOUR ***!!

Are you serious? I highly doubt that any "parts" store would have the ability to keep every item in stock as a matter of fact bought anything from amazon lately? its dropped shipped most of the time and they have several LARGE warehouses. I just ordered a hog tunes speaker pod from DCP and guess what? It was 20% cheaper than everyone else AND they had it in stock...In todays world most of us buy because of the price so we are willing to wait for the product. Samson came on here to say that they have been at fault in some cases causing a delay in shipping. You can beat your *** that progressive would say the same thing because guess what if it wasn't for stores selling there products well they would be out of business, and trust me progressive drags *** BUT wait a minute I bought some monotubes from DCP and hey the where in stock and to my door in a week. Companies have to charge your card when you order something simply because if they didn't they would have a bunch of parts that guys like you ordered got impatient and went some where else. Just because the building they are in is big and look expensive doesn't mean they can have customers just decide they didn't want them anymore...Until you have been in the retail parts business you just wouldn't understand.

I can tell you for a fact that the AutoZone near my home is the worst "parts" store I've ever experienced with stocking parts. Half the time they don't even have common everyday parts such as standard automotive light bulbs.
