I've got Hooker Tuned Flow slip ons on my street glide, and they sound incredible, really deep rumble, and you can adjust the baffles for more or less free-flowing exhaust (can be louder or softer, more high end hp or low end torque)

I personally liked the sound of Supertrapps, went through a few sets of exhaust over the years. I now have stock mufflers from a later bike on my 04 and am liking the quiet. To each their own right?

Also don't forget to look beyond just the pipes. Do you have any plans for extended bags? If you do, think about what look you want. Do you want no cut outs, single cut out, or dual. Also base your decision off of that. My first set of pipes were the vance and hines big shot duals. I liked them because they were cheaper than getting a header and slip ons and I heard they were loud. What I didn't think about was what they would look like when I got extended bags and fender. They would have had a huge gap in the cut outs (too small diameter).
