UPDATE:
I put the Amsoil in the sun and as it warmed the vibrating stoped, I quickly emptied the container and added SYN 3. I plan on putting the container out in the cold againtonight and see if I was able to dilute the Amsoil enough that the vibration is eliminated. This hopefully will work as the container is a favorite of mine.

I am purchasing a 2007 Springer with all maintenance included at no charge, called the Family Plan at Rice Lake HD, Wisconsin. I am also an AMSOIL dealer and will go with the no charge maintenance (fluids included), saves tons of dough! Even thought the AMSOIL products are the top of the line!

I believe harley came out with a buletin uping tranny and primary to 10k some time last year,I can see that in the tranny most of the time I change it still looks brand new,but the primary? That oil looks like crud every time it is changed think ill still change it every 5k..Tom

The color of oil has very little to do with it's protection. OIl changes from that gold color to a dark brown very fast from heat, and is normal. Not saying that you changing your oil more often is bad, just saying don't judge the oil by its color
