Plugging Air Shocks to Keep Oil In

Default Plugging Air Shocks to Keep Oil In
So I have a pair of shocks off my '12 Street Glide. I've kept them upright to keep the oil from draining out. I sold the bike and figure I have no need for the shocks, and I think they have some value to someone who wants to lower their bike. The question is . . . what can I use to plug them so they don't leak oil during shipment?

I use brass pipe plugs... 39 cents at the hardware.

They come with aluminum plugs - I think they are 1/8" NPT

They usually sell for around $100.

Great for people that want to lower their bikes. Also popular for sportsters looking to upgrade their stock shocks.

I have a pair off my 08 RK that I will give away to anyone that wants to pick them up. (Palm Springs CA). Right side leaked, left side was fine. PM me.
trout31. These I think are 1" longer than what's on a SG.
