Hello all, new Fat Bob (and Harley) owner here, after almost 15 years of not riding I bike I decided to get back on the horse. I figured the best way to get my feet wet was to jump in with both feet so I got a 2018 Fat Bob 114, it came with Rinehart slip-ons and a FP3. I will be getting a fairing and a sisi bar for to make it more comfortable on long trips,
Quick note for anyone that is looking for alternatives to the Fat Bob forward controls: I looked into mid controls, but wanted to keep the stock headpipe (and avoid the big investment in swapping for Street Bob mid mounts). So I ordered DK Customs' floorboards and am really happy with them so far. They bolted right on (with DK's 2018+ 45 degree adaptor) to the existing peg mounts. They don't move your feet as far back as mid controls, but made a big difference in foot position and not being so stretched out.

This is my first HD. I came over from the sport bike world. Today on a short ride I heard what I thought was skidding during a left turn. Didnt feel the bike shift and then heard it again on another left turn. I think it was the sidestand scraping. That normal?
Looks good. Does it cut down on the wind a noticeable amount?
