Default Speaker Connectors

So I just installed the Pioneer TSM 800s and they sound good. The problem is the flimsy Male spade connectors the use. I can't seem to keep the females connected. Does anyone have recommendations on how to correct this?

Pinch the females with a pliers to tighten them up a little.

That's not what they are for really.

If you wanted you could solder a short piece of speaker wire to the pioneer tabs then use the nicer male/female connectors between amp and speaker.

Your over thinking this again, do as inthewindmn suggested and problem solved. Not all spades
are created equal. Sometimes a little adjustment is needed depending on what’s available to you.

You're right. I'll try the pliers. I am a little afraid because these Pioneer tabs brittle compared to higher end brands. If it breaks I'll solder on a piece of wire and do it that way.

Thank boys!

Clearly I misread the dancing banana.
