Dude! The bike sounds good in the last video. Nice rough idle sound. Now get out there and enjoy the fruits of your labor! Ride safe!

Glad your loving the new top end Robby! With the increased compression the bike will heat up much faster then before, that's normal. If the plugs look ok and the bike seems to ride ok I wouldn't be afraid to ride it, but I would schedule an appointment and get that puppy tuned sooner then later. The bike will thank you and you'll notice an improvement as well

Don't worry about all the cells you don't hit in normal riding as they aren't really that important anyway. Yeah - make sure "normal" riding hits the WOT zones you probably like!

You can also clear the error codes on the PV - then go ride again and see if they crop up again. There have probably been a few thrown given that you worked on the motor. Clear them all and then see if you have any new ones after a good ride...
Thanks! Dumb question but while auto tuning do i have to start and stop the logging or do I simply make sure that auto tune is enabled and then apply learnings at the end of the ride?

Yeah trying to get this thing scheduled. This tuner is about an hour and a half away but is apparently top notch. Downside is he's generally about 3 week lead time and sometimes the bike is left overnight which I can't do. Hopefully we'll get it figured out soon!

Off the top of my head, you need to go to "Program Vehicle", then select "Autotune", then "Enable Autotune" then select the base map you want to use and the type of 02 sensors you have. Then it will load that map. At that point, you can select "Start Log" or whatever it is called - you should then see a green screen with a load of cells on it. Once you see this, you are good to go ride.

As you ride, you'll notice some of the cells turning orange and then red. This is good and means there are enough "hits" in each cell for the PV to have a new value for it.

When you stop, before you switch the bike off select "Stop Log" or whatever it's called and then save the learned values. It will ask you to choose a slot to save those to and whether you want to "cap" or "scale" the values. I don't know which is "best" here, but personally I cap them.

Next run, select the file you just saved as the base map to autotune and go from there to refine it.

I think that's the process - but I don't have my bike with me to check at the minute. It's not particularly intuitive, but you'll figure it out!

By the way - the bike might run a little rough while you are autotuning as the PV makes changes in the timing of the map you are using. Don't worry about this as it resets this once you save the new tune.

My "best" way is to make several short autotune runs of maybe 20 minutes each or so, saving and then building on the same map each time. It will dial itself in pretty quickly and the bike will be running great - then do some longer runs.

Just try to ride normally during this process and you will hit all the cells that you normally use day to day which will result in a good usable tune.

Have fun!

Good write up there ADM, the cap and scale is used to increase displacement and dial in VE if required

It will ask to scale if you have a VE hitting 127.5 i think, when scale its raises the ci and the VE values will reduce, they may reduce 5pts across the table and this allows you to then have adjustment to reach an AFR

If only one or two boxes in your VE table are reaching 127.50 then you cap and ride

So I have about 100 miles on the current tune (still working on auto tune base map Andrews 57's with 2-1 exhaust, raised engine displacement by 10% and changed injectors to proper size).

Here is what the spark plugs look like, should I adjust anything in the VE or AFR tables immediately let the autotune keep going for now?
