I installed my kury foward controls about 3 months ago and i just noticed
that the chrome is peeling off one side. I have not had a chance to contact them about it,
just wanted to know if anybody else has had this prob. Also the brake pedal will not accept
any of h-d brake pedal
ya they are cheap! I have a set of 3in ext kury forwards. I have minor flaking, its only been 4 months. Also i have an hd skull brake pedal pad on mine, fit perfect. If i had to do it all over again i would have spent 30 bucks more and just went with the hd forwards.
Yes. As far as quality, the HD forwards are the best, for some reason the after-market just didn't do a good job here.
Milwaukee Twins make the best forward controls, IMHO. I installed the HD ones and wish I went with Milwaukee Twins. They have a beefy look to them that I really like. I think 99% of Kuryakyn products are crap.
I would definatley give them a call .
I put kury forwards on my 2007 low rider this past spring ,
I havent noticed any flaking at all .
I just wish I would of went with the extended 2 0r 3 "
I have sent them about 10 emails and now they are no longer responding Kury stuff does not have good quality plating IMHO. I wont buy any more of their crap
Must be a new issue. I have a set of 06 forwards I bought new and put on my 07. Have been running them for 2 years and they still clean up good as new. Same goes for everything else on my bike Kuryakyn - front signal clamps, front and rear footpegs, mirrors, signal light lenses/bezels, rear smoked LED, and chrome levers.
