I look forward to it! If I mess mine up badly then I'll be ordering a set myself!

But should I be fine, I'll work on it tomorrow.

Here is what I did:

Drilled a 1/2" hole 4.5" above the bottom mount, and about 1.5" in from the original top mount location.

Now I don't have that ugly spacer on the bottom and the windshield sit perfectly! Couldn't be happier!

Factory!:

Talking headlight

Several later bikes from various marquees have had buffer issues. Reading several moto magazines they say the latest fix for new models was to make a larger space between the top of the headlight and the bottom of the windshield, this is where the majority of air causing the buffering comes from.

By increasing the angle of the windsheild it redirects the air flow over, vs. the verticle wind screen that "Bull Doze" the air which causes turbulence. Now that I altered the brackets my Windsheild is great! Also looks much better then having a lexan verticle wall strapped to the front of the bike.

The Rifle brackets work great. Though the middle tab to the windshield has to be extended about 1/4 inch. I just added a wide washer to clamp onto the tab. My windshield is now parrell to the forks. Took me 10 minutes.

Do you have a picture of how the angle looks?

Here's what the angle on mine looks like:

Toku, Your mod of the OEM bracket is great. I am enclosing two pictures , which don't do the bracket justice. They are parrell to the forks. On the top of windshield is a Lamnar Lip. Seems to help. One the bottom is a fork deflector , which seems no help at all.
