as long as the speedo drive is the correct size for your axle shaft and the speedo is the correct ratio and I don't know how wide your axle spacer is? as long is the speedo drive isn't wider than your axle spacer your good, you can always add washers or a spacer if needed if the drive is narrower but not the other way around

and if I remember right if your using a 2260:60 speedo you have to match the drive 2260:60 also, you can use the more common 2:1 ratio set up but I think your speedo will be off a little, Harley went to the odd ball to 2240:60 Ratio Speedometers Fits all FXWG models from 84-90, and a wide glide is a 21" tire. Another thing is the axle bearing seal, if the spacer built into the speedo drive is the same size outside dia as your currant spacer, if not may need to replace the axle seal
