Scott I am not tired of hearing about your bike!!!!!!!!!!
If you have compression, spark, and fuel at the right times Bertha should run.
If you didn't mess with the timing during your repair don't mess with it now.
Plugs
1) Verify spark by pulling a plug and with the plug wire connected to the plug touch the plug to the head and hit the start button. Did that, but I don't think they were sparking often enough.
2) Double check plug gap.Done
Carb
Take the air cleaner off and make sure fuel is going through carb when you twist the throttle.
I got rid of my carb like that one a few years ago so I have very little experience with it which is why I said check your manual for the settings.
Did you mess with your valves at all? They were ground and the seals replaced
Did you hook your VOES up? yup
Get a compression gauge to check exact compression. With new rings and freshly honed cylinders, why would the compression be bad?
Never spin your starter more than 5 seconds at a time and give it time to cool off between tries.
Yea, I think I toasted the starter clutch again....she's just spinning now Damnit.
Traildog, what number is the "mode select" set to, on the Daytona Twin Tec module.
That module could be set up for dual or single fire, depends on which coil you have.
In the 2nd video, it still sounds like it spins free, like low compression, seems to spin fast, get some compression test #'s,,,,,,before ya finish burnin' the starter up.

And what's the number on it, 1007EX?
I'm not sure, but I didn't change it. I'll check tonight.
sometimes I would go out to start her and she fired right up. Other times, she would take forever to start.
Another possibility,
I have the DTT ignition too, I would run into a similar no start situaition when it was cold, the voltage drop to the coil was enough for the ignition to misfire.
I would get it to start by holding a jumper wire on the + post of the coil to the + side the battery(or + on starter, more accessible) until I had a chance to install a relay.
Once started no more problems the rest of the day.
