Can you tell me how much primary fluid is needed for a 69 flh?

if it's the stock system, it doesn't take any. it has a constant flow of oil from the oil pump and is sucked back into the oil tank from the primary.

If you have the stock oiling system it oils itself off the oil pump so none, if it's been dried meaning the primary isolated pop the derby cover sit the bike level and pour in just enough to reach the bottom of the clutch pack. My preference that way is using a primary oil or the old dexron ATF.

If you're not sure and you don't have access to a shop manual, ask your local dealer or even an indy shop.

Might as well bring it in to the dealer and ask if they can do a tune as well. Both requests will get you zero results.

Yup. I learned how to build wheels because my local dealer had nobody who knew how anymore.
