The way he explained it to me, it will auto tune if I leave it connected, so I got the handlebar bracket. I got it set up for the stock narrowband O2 sensors, BTW.
Am I correct in this, or was I mislead?
This tuner is getting a base map from FM to go with some mods I am working on right now (255 cams, Ness intake, gutted head tube) and my Klock mufflers.
Payed the extra coin over the PC-V, so kinda hoping I didn't just get fk'd.

I am sure you will be very happy with the PV. With the PV connected to the bike, you can create a log as you ride and use that log to generate a new tune by updating the VE and spark tables. You can also adjust many other tables in the ECM that the PCV doesn't allow you to change. The PV doesn't autotune as you ride but allows you to collect data that gets applied to the base tune. Check some of the posts in this thread and once you get it, we will be glad to help.
I have three tunes loaded on my Power Vision module. How do I tell which one is currently running on the bike? Is there a particular screen to view that tells what tune is on the bike?

Thanks, that fixed it for me.
I opened my tune in WinPV and went to Tune Info/Calibration ID and changed that to something that would identify the new tune.
I then flashed it to the bike. After the flash with the PV still attached I went to Vehicle Info and the new Calibration ID was shown on the bike.
So now it seems that all I need to do to see what tune is in the bike is hook up the PV to it and look for the special ID I gave it under Vehicle Info.

You can tune and set the VEs without turning these off but to be the most accurate you should zero the AE and DE table while tuning. Yes, just zero all the values in those tables or you can change the Multiplier to 0 - has the same effect.
DynoJet is actually working on a screen that does exactly this. It sets all the values as they should be for logging and pulls up a screen that monitors and marks the cells you have hit while riding. All you do is start the log and ride. I tested it several times and sent them suggestions. Works really well. We should probably see it in one of the releases soon.

I wonder if it is possible to retrieve the info, put it in a file that can be emailed to FM and get an adjsuted file back that can be easily downloaded from my laptop to the PV?
Not in the mood to play in the rain today. Its been my luck my day off and it rains. So I sat down and slowed down and carefully looked at the 3 large data logs I had on two of the logs I finally found spark knock events on rear cylinder. One spark knock event on each of the two logs. The 3rd log had NO spark knock events. I was happy to see it working. On both logs it showed a max of 2 then quickly went 1.5, 1, .05 I am really looking forward to future updates that Dennis eluded to about being able to see what cells your hitting etc. I really appreciate the forum for being a place I can run myself in circles while I learn more about this. Even more I appreciate the people here giving their time here letting us learn off them.

I was thinking about what Joe said and there is some good news for him. Using the FuelMoto map should be very close for him and with the adaptive feature turned on the ECM of the bike will "autotune" in a sense just as it did in stock form. I am sure he will be pleased with the PV and map from FuelMoto. Jamie and the guys can help him adjust and the ones of us here are more than willing to help as well.
I have used multiple tuners and really like this Power Vision. It is super easy to use (relatively speaking ) and FuelMoto and DynoJet both give good support plus you have all the help on this forum.
PS: I laughed out loud when I read Joe's note. I actually do have a degree in Computer Science but it isn't necessary to use the PV !!!
