Quick question:
Will the PV record spark knock that is outside of closed loop?
Add the spark knock front and rear to any gauge screen along with RPM MAP TP ET and start a log. All on that screen will be logged no matter how you are running the bike.
I have gave autotune a few tries the other day and notice it only made changes to the VE maps.
Does autotune make changes to other maps like AFR?
If so what have you seen changes made to?
So far looking at the spark knock logs I haven't seen any activity.
I have been getting a lot of decel pop and a pop between gear changes.
FuelMoto tune is running good though. Little on the rich side though.

I'm no expert (see my posts above for proof) but I have had better luck eliminating decel and shift popping by using quicktune instead of autotune. I've just loaded my fuelmoto tune then used quicktune to piggyback on top of it. I used the VE tab to add a couple percent to the decel, low and high areas, reset the fuel trims and I feel like I have something that's about 95% of the way there. I'm now trying to see what working with the spark section will give me.
I wish dynojet would write up a really good quicktune guide, since I feel it's a really useful way of doing a lot of testing really quickly in order to get a tune in the ballpark. and potentially a way for people new to tuning to be introduced to the fundamentals without the steep learning curve of WinPV. Just pull the bike over, stop the engine, hit a few buttons on the tuner, write the change, cycle the ignition and you're off again for another testing round. I'm surprised so little has been made of and discussed regarding what seems to be a truly underrated PV feature.

Those that understand it more prefer the WinPv its a much better way to see what is going on as you tune you can monitor the changes. keep in mind it just came out so all of us that have used PV from the start those options were available.
gday guys. just ordered my pv today so cannot wait until it gets here, quick question if i could please. sorry if its a dumb one.
map i will be getting from fuelmoto for my setup will be mo slip ons and s&s a/c. dont have the s&s a/c yet but will do soon. is there a map in the preloaded ones for just the slip ons that i can use for a month or two ?

I was having decel popping on my 08 ultra with se/ac, vance & hines twin slash rounds. I'm using the se/ac, vance & hines basic slipons map that came with the power vision. I tried quicktune and added a couple of % on decel, low and high just like you did. What a difference popping is gone and the bike definitly has more power and quicker response. Thanks for the tip, I will be using quicktune more often.

I would email fuel moto and request a specific map for that combo. I'm sure he has one.
