Before you can run open loop you need to have the VE's dialed in. Without having the VE's real close you'll never know what AFR you're trying to set. Where and why do you want to run open loop?
Price? Who knows but probably not going to find a lot of differences. If you want service then get it from Fuel Moto and they'll support you for life. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
ran into my neighbor at the end of my driveway, got distracted and hit end autotune without exporting the new tune.
can you say face palm
i did datalog the run.
so my question is... can i use the log to re-create the tune i just lost ?
i dont have much experience with log tuner, when i tried to calculate a tune it would not let me as there were missing channels wb lambda 1 (i think thats what it said)
that message was displayed when i loaded the pvv and then added a csv log to it then hit calc tune.
EDIT
perhaps none of it was saved, when i look at the last pvv and last csv i dont see any difference from the starting tune... oops
Where did you get the PV? If they didn't send you a cal to start with you can use the closest from the DJ website. You're going to have to tune it anyway. It just might take a few extra runs to get it dialed in. If you read 200 pages you already know enough to get a half azzed tune started.
I have been running autotune basic and had it running really good but then changed pipes and had to call DJ to get their recommendation on what map to start with because my other one was running awful. I am getting the cams installed this week while I am out of town on work and getting the AT-100.
The few autotune basic runs I did with the new pipes ended up giving me some VE values higher than 127.5 so it gave the option of scaling or capping so I capped so I don't know if DJ did not recommend the best map to start with or not. just trying to see if anyone else has a similar build that has a decent map to start with.

I have a few cells that max out, depending on the pipes and how open they are it just happens. Whatever cal you run the VE scale will be in proportion to the engine size you have selected in the tune itself from what I understand. Meaning if you run 10 different cals and they are all for the same engine size, when you get done auto tuning them your ve's should be realitively the same.

Pipes or slipons that are free flowing will sometimes cause some crazy numbers. Nailing down the true cause will drive you crazy. If it tuned out really sweet with the old exhaust and the new exhaust turned it to crap, then you know the reason. Post your prior set up that tuned nice and then the set up that won't tune. If there are any guys that tune for a living, and reading this, they may be able to give you some advice on your new exhaust. I did a 255 with ac and REALLY free flowing slipons and the numbers maxed out. The cause was the free flowing slipons. I put the stock mufflers on just to experiment. Numbers came down. Once I added a little restriction to the free flowing baffles the numbers came back down and didn't need to increase CI's. I'm not sure how drastic it affected performance but a stage 1 with 255's is pretty mild so I'm guessing not much.

Yep, I'm laughing at ya. Only because I've done the same chit. Boy does it suck. An hour out thinking I was doing good...focusing on getting as many cells as I could...life is good...beautiful day...tons of data collected...looking forward to looking at the log...cold beer in the fridge...oooops, forgot to save the log. I drank the beer anyway.

lmao, you got that right :-)
i already lost one tune i had worked down to 5% due to a labeling oopsie.
i did notice as i was effectively deleting this one that it was down to 6%
Had decel popping issues. Fixed it. Did an autotune run. Installed the autotune. Omg! Terrible decel popping. Autotune undid my decel pop fix. Not good!
