Ok, crappy situation. I was currently auto-tuning my 18 SGS Anniversary and dropped my PV while cleaning the bike. Now, the screen is cracked. I can see the display; however the touch screen does not work. I can't do anything with the PV. So question is, can I disconnect the PV even though it was in Auto Tune Mode? Would the bike run properly or would I risk messing something up?

so as i understand the ecu is flashed in autotune mode and is set to AFR of 14.7:1 across the board to learn the tune, ie: if you pump the same fuel into each MAP and RPM the only variable is the output AFR, which itll read from the O2, then can work backwards to determine the volumetric efficency of the cylinder @ each map/rpm. You need to reflash it back into ‘normal’ mode so that itll run ‘normally’
sorry

Unfortunately the touch screen functions don't work so I can't program anything. I'm literally stuck in autotune

Hook the PV to the computer and have it plugged into the bike also. Open Win/PV and let the PV hook up to the computer. It will tell you it is in the pc link mode on the screen. Leave bike off. Pull up the last tune that you flashed to the bike in win/pv. Next select send tune to pv and select a slot to put it in and also check the two boxes below to flash and reset trims. Tell it ok and turn both switches on on bike. A small window will pop up on the computer and tell it ok. It will flash the tune without touching the screen. This will also take out of Autotune I think. Don't think it is in Autotune mode after you turn off bike unless you restart the Autotune. Don't use autotune much.
I would get in touch with Dynajet and they will treat you right on fixing it. Couple of friends have had excellent results getting PV fixed.

good to know, would of never thought of that, good stuff tho!!!... I'm going to save my latest file to the winpv just in case I'm out there, and PV gets damaged, fly's off , etc etc....
Thank you for the suggestion. I clipped on a Ferrite core at every plug. With my Target Tune and Power Vision, that was 5 cores. So far, 3 40 minute rides and the guages have not blanked out once. This was even after Dynojet replaced my PV with a new one under warranty.
Is there an updated guide out there on the Internet or here for running the advanced AutoTuneTarget Tune procedure? I've had mine running with it for a couple years and have developed a little pinging and want to go through the auto tune process again. I can't find my documents from before and unfortunately it's one of those use or lose memories and don't want to go through "all" of the documents again... Not looking for the easy way, just want the updatedefficient way to tackle this again. Thanks in advance
